About Us

Lucky Lanes has been a family owned & operated bowling center since its initial construction as Modern Lanes in 1959 by Lou Nocek. After two additions and numerous renovations throughout the past 50 years, it has come to be the one-stop, 40 lane center that it is today.

Besides the 40 lanes (which are run by the full-color, Brunswick Frameworx automatic scoring system), you will find a large bar area with 4 flat-screen TV's, a game room (including a pool table, driving and shooting games, and a Brand New selection of arcade games & prize system), a large snack counter/grill area attached to a Perky's Pizza station, and a selection of numerous New York State Lottery games, including Quick Draw.

At the north end of the building is our 1400+ square foot pro shop, The Bowler's Corner, operated by PBA member Todd Langworthy, and our own trophy/plaque engraving shop.

Lucky Lanes is a USBC certified bowling center and is home to more than 20 adult leagues containing members of the Dunkirk-Lakeshore Bowling Association and over 300 junior bowlers from the Grape Belt Junior Bowling Association. Even though that may sound like a lot of league bowling, there is also a lot of open bowling available, and we also have numerous special events, tournaments, and birthday parties throughout the season. Please feel free to contact us for more information about our birthday party packages available or if you want to schedule a special event. We will do our best to make your next bowling occasion a memorable one.
